Until July of this year we have continued to meet fortnightly on a Friday or Saturday for a wide variety of activities, under the leadership of Tim & Kathryn and Chris & Sue.  We also met alternate Sunday afternoons for Bible Studies with a girls group lead by Kathryn & Ruth T. and a boys group lead by Chris & Tim.

On the Fridays we have had themed evenings with games, challenges, quizzes, food, guest speakers and some of our own young people and leaders giving talks.  Guests have included Lionel C., Gilly P., Nicki & Robin P., Marcus & Pritti.  Thanks also to Andrew P. for one of his fab treasure hunts this time around Tadcaster.

Saturday outings have included outdoor ice skating in York, a trip to a pantomime, walking at Bolton Abbey, boating and pitch & putt at Knaresborough, and fun at Filey.

We had a final bash at The Bridge Inn before some of our young people went to university.  Please pray for Kate J., Christopher M., Jenny T. and Daniel N. as they start at university; also for Daniel R., Chris J. and Jonathon K. on their gap year.

This September was all change, as well as some of our young people moving on we had Sarah & Louise S. join us from YTFC.  We also saw Kathryn H. and Chris M. step down from leadership.  We would like to take this opportunity to thank them both for the many hours they gave to plan, prepare and lead each meeting and for the contribution they made over and beyond what was expected.

As from September we have met on a Friday for Bible Study.  We now have 3 study groups.  Tim leads a boys group at his home in Garforth, Nicki P. & Ruth lead one girls group and Sarah S. & Sue lead the other at Sue’s home.  We continue to have monthly Saturday outings and activities.

Please do pray for our young people and leaders as we move forward that we would all ‘Seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness’.
