The treasure hunt took us to various locations around the local area. When asked at the end of the weekend about the best activity, many of the children mentioned the treasure hunt. Maybe you can see, through the photographs below, some of the the reasons why.

The first location visited was Langold Country Park. Pictured left, is a team which did well but unfortunately employed tactics (such as reversing down a drive to reduce mileage) which cost them first prize.

The team, pictured right, appears to have successfully found the answers to one of the clues. They eventually won first prize. Rumours that the judge was biased toward this team as it included his wife and daughter were proved to be unfounded.

The third location was a small village called Mattersey. Apparently the population of the village doubled the afternoon we descended upon it.
