King's is affiliated to the Elim Pentecostal movement: a mainline Pentecostal denomination which has churches throughout the British Isles and in many parts of the world. Pentecostal churches tend to be noted for their friendliness, their informality and emphasis on the continuing work of the Holy Spirit in today's church.
